Il book
The history of the people of Iran is told with historical rigor but also with passion by an Iranian who has studied and lived in Abruzzo. The autore, witness and in contact with many protagonists of the mighty revolution of '79, wonders about the reasons that brought Khomeini to power and forced Islamization of society that dragged Iran obscurantism under the incredulous eyes of the people who harbored other expectation than revolution. "A voice in the chapter" asks questions and hopes to stimulate others. It offers tools to understand and to respond to Islamic fundamentalism and the issues that weigh on Iran and the Middle Oriente.La thesis of the book disarms the ambiguous concept of "export of democracy" and argues that the solutions to the problems of Iran reside in civil society and democratic forces in those unrelated to the corpus of Islamic regime.
