  To have been able to tell, with poignant intensity of interpretation, love for the sea and the value of life, through the eyes of gleaming old fisherman.

  For the ability to use the expedient dream to tell a story from two different points of view, emphasizing the relativity of all human experience and inviting to reassess their situation in the light of that of others.

  For the delicacy with which is treated, through a story unexpected outcome, the theme of confrontation and coexistence of different cultures, pointing the way of art as a possible means to bring people.
